Mariétou & Django are, above all, a Malian couple united by the bonds of marriage, love, and a deep, shared connection. Both raised in families with a griot tradition in Kita, Mali, they are produced by Pape Armand Boye. The Malian music they perform aims to be authentic and rooted in the rich Malian traditions, while also being open to blues, folk, and jazz influences from around the world.
